The Saffron house isn't the first of many Indian restaurants to open this year, but it is one of the best.

Even an Indian national would find the fare at Saffron House more than a little bit exotic; Addison's undisputed raja of subcontinental cuisine offer more than just lentil and chickpeas, opting instead for the all-out intricacy of such things as shrimp moiley, some rather large shrimp mixed in with liberal servings of coconut sauce, cumin, ginger, cilantro, curry and a few spices that haven't even been named yet. Wash it all down with an Indian beer and you might just be granted dual citizenship.
Fans feel this Addison Indian "deserves a lot more attention that it receives" thanks to "good service" and a wide variety of carefully prepared foods that are almost always good, with refined flavours that are reflected in its chic red-and gray decor (amazing for being in a shopping center).
