An ode to temple artistry, this saree blends two time-honored crafts—Pen Kalamkari and Kanchipuram weaving—into one visual symphony. The body features hand-drawn Kalamkari florals and vines, meticulously brushed using natural dyes on a fine silk-cotton canvas. Each motif is outlined in kasimi (iron black) and shaded with earthy reds, indigo, and mustard—a hallmark of traditional Srikalahasti Kalamkari technique.

The pallu and border are pure Kanchipuram, woven in muted terracotta with temple rekku (saw-tooth) zari edging, anchoring the hand-painted panels in sacred geometry. The interplay of painted and woven elements makes this saree not just a drape, but a wearable scroll of South Indian heritage.

Elegant, breathable, and deeply rooted in artisanal legacy—perfect for classical events, heritage showcases, or thoughtful heirloom gifting.

Kalamkari is a traditional Indian art form that involves hand-painting or block-printing intricate designs on fabric using natural dyes. Originating from Andhra Pradesh, it often depicts mythological stories, nature-inspired motifs, and folk elements with fine detailing and earthy tones.

The Kanchipuram weaving cluster specializes in creating these silk-cotton sarees using age-old techniques. Local artisans skillfully combine silk warp with cotton weft threads, preserving the legacy of temple-inspired designs while catering to contemporary comfort.
