Blush Pink Organza Saree with Watercolour Rose Print, Scalloped Cutwork Lace Border

Soft and luminous, this Blush Pink Organza Saree carries a watercolour rose print across the body — full-bloom roses, buds and sage foliage rendered in rose pink, fuchsia and ivory, layered over a pale blush ground that lightens and deepens as the fabric falls.

The print is bordered by a wide band of tonal pink floral cutwork lace, embroidered in rose and vine motifs and finished with a scalloped edge that follows the length of the saree and pallu. The unstitched blouse piece is in solid blush pink with the same lace border, letting the look stay tonal from drape to blouse — a light, romantic saree built for daytime celebration.

This saree brings together two techniques — a fine digital print that carries painterly floral detail and tonal depth across sheer organza, and an embroidered cutwork lace border worked in matching pink thread, where the ground is cut away to leave the floral motif standing free. The border is then scalloped by hand-guided cutting to follow the outline of the flowers.

This saree is crafted in Surat, Gujarat — India's largest centre for fine sheer weaves and the country's hub for organza production, thread embroidery and hand-finished trims. Gujarat also holds a long tradition of abhla bharat, or mirror work, and the karigars here bring that inherited skill to contemporary embroidered sarees.
