Woven in pure mulberry silk on a luminous off-white ground, this Kanjivaram saree carries a fine silver-tone zari diagonal weave across the body that gives the cream silk a soft, understated shimmer. Evenly scattered across this ground are small gold zari sunflower buttas — neat, precisely woven, and rhythmically placed from hem to pallu.
The broad border is woven in dense antique gold zari with traditional temple and floral motifs, edged with a vivid orange-red contrast stripe that brings a distinctly South Indian bridal character to the drape. The pallu continues the gold zari weave at a richer density, finishing with gold silk tassels at the hem.
As classic as Kanjivaram itself, made for a traditional wedding or a grand festive occasion.
6.3 m saree with blouse material included. Fine silver zari diagonal body weave with scattered gold zari sunflower buttas. Broad antique gold zari border with traditional temple and floral motifs. Vivid orange-red contrast edge stripe on border. Dry clean only.
Woven on traditional pit looms with a fine silver-tone zari diagonal pattern across the full body and gold zari sunflower buttas placed at regular intervals during weaving. The broad antique gold zari border carries dense traditional temple and floral motifs and is woven separately, then joined to the body at the selvedge. The pallu carries a heavier gold zari ground with the same traditional motifs at a larger scale.
