A luminous offering to tradition, this bespoke Pichwai-inspired Kota saree transforms the sacred imagery of Nathdwara temples into a lyrical handwoven drape. Crafted with pure zari in the age-old khat weave, the rust-toned canvas features a pastoral procession of Nandi—sacred temple bulls, flanked by stylized kadamba trees, lotus ponds, and Vrindavan palms.

Each Nandi is woven with reverence, not merely depicted—soft pink, serene-eyed, and marching in divine rhythm. The borders are adorned with golden hamsa (celestial swans) and blooming lotuses in violet and yellow, symbols of purity and spiritual awakening.

The pallu, in zari-checked diagonals, lends a geometric calm to the fluid storytelling of the body. Light as air yet rich with intention, this saree is a moving shrine of thread and devotion—a true collectible for the spiritually attuned and artistically inclined.

Pichwai is a traditional Indian art form originating from Nathdwara, Rajasthan, known for its intricate paintings depicting tales of Lord Krishna, especially in his form as Shrinathji. These artworks are rich in detail, often painted on cloth using natural colors, and serve both devotional and decorative purposes.

This fabric is traditionally woven in Kaithoon, a town near Kota in Rajasthan, where artisans have preserved the fine art of Kota weaving. The cluster is known for its handloom expertise and for producing high-quality Kota Doria with real zari, combining heritage with craftsmanship.

Please note that the color of the actual product may slightly differ from the images shown, due to variations in device screens and monitor settings. Each screen has its own capacity to display colors, which can affect how the product looks on your device.
