Woven in pure mulberry silk in a deep, fiery crimson, this Kanjivaram saree commands attention from the first drape. The entire body is covered in a dense all-over gold zari brocade weave — large floral medallions and geometric lattice patterns worked in real gold zari, giving the red silk an almost architectural richness that is unmistakably bridal.
What sets this saree apart is the hand-embroidered scalloped border that runs the full length of the saree and pallu — kundan settings, sequins, and stone work hand-applied onto the woven gold zari border in a scallop pattern, adding a layer of couture craft to the classical weave beneath. It is the meeting point of Kanjivaram's weaving tradition and the artisan embroiderer's hand.
A complete bridal ensemble of exceptional weight and presence, made for a wedding ceremony that deserves nothing less.
6.3 m saree with blouse material included. Dry clean only.
Woven on traditional pit looms with a dense all-over gold zari brocade pattern — large floral medallions and geometric lattice motifs worked continuously across the full crimson silk body using real gold zari. The broad gold zari border is woven separately and joined at the selvedge. The scalloped edge is hand-embroidered post-weaving, with kundan settings, sequins, and stone work applied by artisan embroiderers along the full length of the border and pallu hem — a two-craft saree combining classical Kanjivaram weaving with couture surface embroidery.
Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu — silk capital of South India with 400 years of weaving heritage.
