Woven in pure mulberry silk in a soft, dreamy lilac, this Kanjivaram saree carries large, generously spaced gold zari buttas across the body — peacock and floral motifs woven with precision and depth, each one a miniature work of craft in itself. The lilac silk ground has a natural luminosity that lets the gold buttas catch and hold light beautifully.
The border is broad and bold — dense antique gold zari with traditional woven motifs, edged in deep wine-magenta with a thin orange inner stripe, a colour play that is distinctly and unapologetically Kanjivaram. The pallu continues with the same large butta motifs on a heavier gold ground, finishing with gold silk tassels.
This saree is made for a bride who wants a palette that is soft in tone but commanding in presence.
6.3 m saree with blouse material included. Plain lilac silk body with large woven gold zari peacock and floral buttas. Broad antique gold zari border with dense traditional motifs and deep wine-magenta contrast edge with thin orange inner stripe. Dry clean only.
Woven on traditional pit looms with large peacock and floral motif buttas placed at generous intervals across the lilac silk body during weaving, using real gold zari thread. The broad antique gold zari border is woven separately with dense traditional motifs and joined to the body at the selvedge. The pallu carries a heavier gold zari ground with the same statement butta motifs at an expanded scale.
