Drape yourself in understated elegance with this Blush Pink Kota Silk Saree, woven with a delicate silver zari floral vine of blooming roses and soft powder-blue leaves scattered across the sheer body. The lightweight, semi-transparent Kota weave gives the saree its signature airy drape, making it perfect for daytime weddings, festive gatherings, and summer soirées.

The saree features a rich silver zari border detailed with a chevron (zigzag) pattern and a fine checkered weave, finished with a contrast pink piping edge. The pallu elevates the design further with a silver polka-dot motif transitioning into the same rose and floral vine embroidery, framed by a broad zari band for a regal finish.

Saree Length 5.5 meters. Blouse Piece Length 0.8 meter.

Kota Doria is a centuries-old handweaving tradition renowned for its signature sheer, square-checked weave, created by interlacing cotton and silk (or zari) yarns on a pit loom. This technique produces an exceptionally lightweight, translucent fabric with a crisp texture, making it ideal for warm-weather draping. Skilled artisans further embellish the fabric with intricate zari booties, floral motifs, and woven borders, a craft passed down through generations of weaving families.

This saree is woven in the historic Kota-Kaithoon weaving cluster of Rajasthan, home to generations of traditional weavers who have preserved the Kota Doria craft since the Mughal era. The Kaithoon village near Kota city remains the epicenter of this GI (Geographical Indication)-tagged textile art, with artisan families continuing the handloom legacy today.
