Cream Tussar Hand Embroidery Silk Saree

Warm and understated, this Cream Tussar Silk Saree carries a slubbed, softly textured ground scattered with small hand embroidered pomegranate butis — each fruit filled with a fine lattice stitch in rose pink or deep red, crowned with a leaf and a tiny bud.

The border opens into a full hand embroidered vine: pomegranates in crimson, blush and sage, worked alongside star flowers in red and powder blue, curling leaves in olive and pistachio, and small round mirrors set into the pattern. Rows of kantha-style running stitch in coral, pink and grey run alongside the vine, widening the border and drawing the eye across the pallu. The edge is finished with a fine cream crochet lace picot trim. The unstitched blouse piece carries a matching embroidered band with the same lace finish.
