Clean and textural, this Ivory Kanjivaram Silk Saree carries a fine checkered weave across its body, offering a soft, dry-textured base with a subtle sheen. A thin red band marks the transition into the border, where the saree's signature fusion detail unfolds — a striking Ikat-style panel woven in black with pixelated motifs of elephants, peacocks, and parrots in green, yellow, white, and red, evoking the geometric precision of telia rumal and Pochampally Ikat weaving.
Beyond the Ikat band, the border opens into a rich, wide gold zari section densely worked with rows of peacocks in a diamond-lattice ground, framed by purple-maroon pinstripes and a fine checkered trim. The pallu carries this same gold zari peacock border in a fuller spread against a warm orange-red ground, anchoring the drape with bold, traditional Kanjivaram detailing. The saree comes paired with a solid red Kanjivaram silk blouse piece, finished with the same gold zari peacock border and purple stripe trim for a coordinated look.

This saree showcases a striking weaving fusion — a fine checkered Kanjivaram silk body paired with an Ikat-style border panel depicting elephants, peacocks, and parrots in a pixelated weave, followed by a dense gold zari peacock border and matching pallu.
This saree draws on techniques from two celebrated traditions — the structured silk weaving of Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, and the geometric Ikat weaving style associated with regions like Pochampally, Telangana. Together, they reflect a distinctive fusion of regional handloom artistry.
