Soft and playful, this Pink Checkered Kanchivaram Silk Saree is woven in a delicate multicolor plaid — pink, lavender, and sage lines crossing over an ivory base, giving the body a light, everyday-elegant character.
The border makes a bold shift into deep purple, opening with a fine temple triangle (kuyilu) edge in tonal purple, followed by a slim gold zari striped band that frames the transition. The pallu carries the same deep purple through in a subtle windowpane check patterned with fine gold zari lines, finishing in matching striped zari borders for a clean, tailored close.

Handwoven on pit looms in Kanchipuram. Real zari is interlocked into pure mulberry silk — no stitching, no printing. Every saree takes 7–10 days to weave.
Woven by hereditary families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu — India's GI-protected silk weaving town.
