A striking play of color and craft, this Pink Kota Silk Saree combines the signature sheer Kota weave with a vividly hand-detailed floral border. The body is scattered with delicate silver zari butis on a soft pink base, bordered by a fine silver trellis (diamond lattice) design accented with a thin red pinstripe.

The showstopper is the multicolor floral border — a rich tapestry of tulips, lilies, and blossoms woven in mustard yellow, olive green, red, white, and lavender threads, giving the saree a lively, artisanal charm rarely seen in traditional Kota weaves.

The pallu breaks from the pink body in a bold mustard yellow, featuring an intricate silver zari honeycomb (hexagonal) pattern that transitions into the same multicolor floral vine, framed with a yellow and red piped edge for a striking finish.

Kota Doria weaving is a centuries-old Rajasthani handloom tradition known for its sheer, square-checked texture created by interlacing cotton and silk yarns on a pit loom. This saree showcases an elevated version of the craft, where artisans have hand-woven a vivid multicolor floral border alongside the classic silver zari, blending traditional technique with a contemporary color palette.

Woven in the historic Kota-Kaithoon cluster of Rajasthan, a region renowned for generations of weaving families who have preserved this GI-tagged textile art. The Kaithoon village near Kota city remains the heart of this craft, with artisans continuing to innovate within the traditional weave.
