Understated yet richly detailed, this Sea Green Tussar silk Saree is woven with fine gold zari buttis scattered across the body, catching the light with quiet shimmer against the soft sea-green base. The lightweight Tussar silk gives the drape a crisp, airy fall, making it as graceful in motion as it is in stillness.
The saree's defining feature is its wide meenakari-style peacock and paisley border — a traditional motif rendered in muted maroon, dusty rose, and forest green threads, outlined in ivory zari for depth and contrast. The pallu carries the same peacock vine work in a denser cluster, framed by a striped gold zari band, and finishes in soft hand-tied cotton tassels for a traditional touch. It is paired with a matching sea-green blouse piece, detailed with the same peacock border motif and gold kantha-style stripes.
Saree Length: 5.5meters
Blouse Piece Length: 0.8 meters
Recommended Care: Dry clean only
This saree showcases a meenakari-inspired embroidery technique — peacock and paisley motifs worked in maroon, rose, and green threads, outlined in ivory zari to create depth and definition. The dense border and pallu detailing frame the drape while the fine gold buttis across the body add subtle, all-over shimmer.
This tussar silk saree is woven in the traditional weaving cluster of Bhagalpur, Bihar — widely regarded as the heart of India's tussar silk production. Known for its skilled handloom weavers and generations-old techniques, this region produces tussar silk prized for its natural texture, warm sheen, and durability, with each piece reflecting the distinct craftsmanship passed down through local weaving communities.
