The pallu makes a striking statement with a dense procession of horses woven in a tonal pink-silver zari, marching in profile across the fabric before opening into the saree's defining feature — a wide, solid gold zari border. This border is worked in multiple layered bands: a leaf-tooth edge, a diamond lattice ground, and rich floral-vine panels, all in high-shine gold zari that runs the full width of both the border and pallu.
