Rich and regal, this Red Kanchivaram Silk Saree is woven with small gold zari buttas (paisley-leaf motifs) scattered evenly across the body, giving the fabric a fine, textured shimmer typical of traditional Kanchivaram weaving. The border is woven using the attu pettu technique — an interlocking weft method used to create the dense, raised gold zari pattern — featuring a rudraksham (coin) motif with a crosshatch fill, framed by fine diagonal reku (twill) lines on either side.
